MICROCOCHES 1940 - 1970 MADRID
Salvador Claret, Ralf Kosildo and Cosmo Caixa have created an exhibition about Spanish Microcars. It is located in Museu de la Ciència from Fundació "la Caixa" in Alcobendas (Madrid). It talks about the spanish microcar's history between 1940 and 1970.
The exhibition will be opened until January 2005. It includes various photos, catalogues and some films from the 50s where it appears some microcars. All these vehicles were handmade, and gave the oportunity to the spanish medium class to have their first car after the civil war.
The micros exhibited are: a Clua from Antonio Martín del Barrio, a David from Joseba Arazabalaba, a Biscuter Rubia from Museo del Automóvil de Salamanca and a Biscuter Zapatilla from Jaume Jubert, a Delfin van and a Kapi from Col·lecció d’Automòbils de Salvador Claret, a MT from Claudi Roca, a spanish Goggomobil from Miguel Martín Zurimendi, and a spanish Isetta from Planxisteria Sant Joan, and logically a PTV from AUSA.
The place where we can see the cars it's great and very big and beautifull..
In the inauguration there were people from Fundació La Caixa, the owners of the cars and a lot of media from Madrid.
